Method
How much more, or less, a sector runs a technology than the index does: its share in the sector against its share everywhere. One metric of 71 in the registry, 64 of them measured on 12 Sept 2026.
A sector's share of a technology, set against the same technology's share of the whole index.
Both shares are measured on the same index load and both print their denominator. A lift is published only when the sector cell clears the suppression floor, so a small sector has no lift rather than a loud one.
The companies in the sector, and the companies in the index.
Sector membership comes from the business category on the matched organisation, which 99.1% of them carry. A company with no category is in the denominator of the index and in no sector.
