How to read an entry

A figure on this site renders with a value, a denominator and a date, or it does not render at all. The entry is where those three are defined: what the metric counts, the rule that decides what is in and what is out, the whole it is measured against, the job that produced it and the caveat that bounds it.

What the registry is not

It is not a changelog. A count carries the landing date of the index load it was made on, and the next load moves it, so a number cited from here carries its date with it. Counts cover the whole crawled universe, not a sample, verified since 2020; published series start January 2021.
