The Grid

A cross-tab of technologies by one company dimension

Every cell is an exact count of companies and a link to the segment it counted; the denominator is named once at the row head. Pick a set of columns and a dimension.

A cell is its own count over the whole index, 0.5 to 1.5 seconds each, so a grid is capped at 8 technologies by 12 rows: 96 counts, rendered on the server and cached for a day.
